What is Bowen?

Bowen is a non invasive alternative treatment for many of the ailments we suffer with today. It involves lying on a massage couch with a series of very gentle manipulative moves that harmonise and relax the body. Bowen always works better with skin contact but can be done through very light clothing.

The Therapist

Graham Power Certified Bowen Therapist for 2years, I practice the original Bowen Technique (which originated with Tom Bowen) from home part time as I find the homely environment more conductive to a relaxing atmosphere as opposed to a clinic.

The Session

A Bowen session costs £30, discounts available to those on disability and a session lasts up to an hour. A lifestyle questionnaire is filled in upon arrival.

Everyone reacts to treatments differently but ailments take between 1-3 treatments but chronic ailments could take longer.
