Light-tastic  can offer a full sound and lighting solution for any small to medium event. As well as specialising in live music and concert events we can also provide audiovisual solutions for conferences and outdoor events.

Working as a professional musician with over 25 years experience playing with various bands that toured Europe and the U.K. I had the opportunity to move into stage lighting when a friend of mine, who was a guitarist with a well known local rock band, needed a lighting rig for a small tour. From small beginnings, I saw the opportunity to move into a lighting production, providing lighting solutions for shows that were too small for the big production companies to get involved with and too big for the local lad with a few lights.

My experience as a musician helped in understanding what made a music gig tick and I quickly established myself as a reliable supplier and operator. My break into full time production came when I was asked to supply and operate the Legends show playing at a conference in Birmingham. The producers were so impressed they quickly booked me for all the Legends Christmas shows that year.

In 2001 I was asked to design and supply a lighting rig for the  Abba Mania show for International artists. After a successful 12-date tour I was asked to be the Production manager for further tours. The show was so successful it played at The Strand theatre in London's west end for 17 weeks. From there the show broke into Europe and played eight sell out weeks at the prestigious Deutches Theatre, Munich. A German production company took the show into Europe, paying stadiums and concert halls. I was still very much involved with Abba Mania, and provided the production for all the U.K. dates.

Recently I was involved with the show when it broke into Russia and played at the home of the Royal Ballet, in the Kremlin, Moscow. We were the first tribute show to play in Russia.

To day I am still very involved with the Legends show , who play probably the most successful summer season in the U.K. at Blackpool's Central pier. I am in my fifth season there providing the lighting and operating I am also involved with Camelot, a theme park near Chorley Lancashire. Here I look after the lighting rig in the huge conference centre and operate the rig for all the cabaret and Christmas parties

Over the years I have built up a small but reliable team of independent operators and suppliers, who between us can offer the full production package to suit most budgets.
