With it's sunny microclimate, influenced by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream, this is an area for country lovers and lovers of all things French.
We are in the heart of the wine and Cognac country with many local direct sales and tasting opportunities.

The local village is just 1/2 km away with a few shops, large supermarket and Bars, other bigger towns such as Barbezieux is just 10km away with shops bars and restaurants and Jonzac which is about 12km away is a pretty village with shops bars resaurants and a large swimming and lesuire complex, both have markets on seperate days of the week.

The coast is only 50 minutes away and the Major towns of Cognac and Angouleme are within 35 minutes drive.

The historic city of Bordeaux is just 45 minutes away with flights from all over the uk. Angouleme now has flights from Stanstead and is only 30 minutes drive, then there is Limoges which is about 1 1/2 hrs away and La Rochelle which is also about 1 1/2 hrs away.

We are on the edge of the old railway track which stretches for miles through different towns and villages which is ideal for walkers and cyclist.
