The Experience

Rendezvous at the Sink

The most pleasurable part of our salon experience is getting your hair washed. It builds trust and confidence between stylist & client before the client even sits in the cutting chair. If a stylist takes the time to give a proper shampoo that is therapeutic, relaxing, & efficient, finished with a breath-taking head massage, the client is now confident that the care you
gave them at the sink will be carried through the rest of their salon experience.

At Studio 180, we take pride in our sink care, and everyone that works here are trained and expected to perform above and beyond. Contact us for a variety of different services offered at the sink including treatments and head massages

Our Stylists

  • 1. Marco Ghasabani, Master Stylist / Co - Owner
After six years as co-owner of Fluid Hair Studio, Marco Ghasabani decided it was time to branch off and put his heart and soul into something he could call his own.  With the help of his sister Mona, Marco created Studio 180 Hair Design – a place where not only do clients become repeat customers – they become friends.

“The Jack-of-all-Trades” (as he is most often referred to by those who know him best) practically grew up in the salon environment.  His long list of credentials have enabled him to become an educator and platform artist for L’Oreal, Big Sexy Hair (based out of Los Angeles) as well as an educator for one of the most well-known, high-end hairstyling franchises.

Marco adds his creative touch and unique sense of style into everything he does; from within the four walls of Studio 180 to the finishing touch in his clients’ look, it is no doubt that his ever-growing passion for the industry will leave you with a lasting impression.

    2. Mona Ghasabani, Master Stylist / Co - Owner
Born into a family of hairstylists, becoming one yourself is almost inevitable.
“I remember watching my mom do hair when I was 5 years old and knowing that I was destined to do the same; it was in my blood.”  Having 12 years of experience in the industry, hair has become second nature to Mona.  Mona consistently puts 100% into everything she does, not allowing anyone to leave her chair unsatisfied.  “I believe in making my clients look their best and that includes telling them the honest truth about their style choices, but I also believe in compromising because at the end of the day, it is their choice.”

    3. Billy (Forgot his last name), Artistic Director
As a fashion consultant in the fashion industry for six years, Billy wanted to take his passion and knowledge for the industry to the next level.   While putting together the perfect wardrobe for both men and women, Billy would envision the hairstyle that would best suit their individual fashion sense.  Eventually, Billy realized that it was time for him to branch out of what he was familiar with and try something new.

Billy’s base training came from Marco Ghasabani (Master Stylist, Studio 180).  Marco gave Billy the chance to work alongside other professionals in a high-end salon environment. Eventually, Billy had the opportunity of working with key professionals in the industry including John Donato, Vidal Sassoon, and Woody Michleb.

Hair has become Billy’s #1 passion in life.  It gives him an overwhelming feeling when a client allows him to combine his own personal touch with the style that was merely just an idea when they walked in

  • Facial Threading available at studio 180!

    What is Threading?

Threading is a centuries old technique that has been practiced in East Asia and the Middle East and recognized as one of the most efficient and accurate ways of facial hair removal/ By using a piece of thread, hair an be removed promptly yet mindfully from the most delicate areas of the face. Facial Threading is the best and most sought out alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially common sensitive skin .Unlike waxing, threading does not remove a layer of skin. Threading is by far the least invasive method of hair removal, leaving the skin clean and smooth.

    How does it work?

By knotting the thread and creating a trap, hairs are caught and forced out by the root. The rapid back and forth movement removes hair very efficiently. Threading can last anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks.  Threading is available every Friday at studio 180 with our lovely Mary.
