Project of the Month in focus

Zambia, Chibolia District Construction

The Project we will be focusing on in December and January is located in the capital city of Lusaka in Zambia. As you fund this project we will update the film so you can watch as it is built.

It is located in Chibolia a notorious district in Lusaka City. This is a major project that will make a difference to some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Zambia.

The Chibolia Centre will provide both practical and spiritual advise to thousands of people many being vulnerable street children that live in the ghetto.

This is a list of facilities we will provide to the community.

Medical Health Clinic providing treatment and advice.

Adult skills training

Adult and Child Education

Feeding Centre for the most disadvantaged

A Police Station built into the boundary wall providing security to the District as Chibolia is a no go lawless area.

A conference centre for church and community use

Offices providing administration facilities

Regardless of your Nationality, financial position, gender or religious belief together we can make a real difference in the lives of ordinary people who through no fault of their own are disadvantaged and require our help. Please watch the films below as the Bishop Sarah Duro-Lombanya (Project Coordinator for the Chibolia centre) shares her vision, then take a step and become a MissionBuilder with us. Donate generously and make the world a better place.

Construction Project of the Month Over the next 12 months we will be looking at construction projects both big and small in the whole of Southern Africa. These
construction projects will make a massive impact on the quality of life for many forgotten disadvantaged communities in the developing world.

Zimbabwe Projects

We have all been made aware of the political problems and financial struggle that the ordinary citizens of Zimbabwe has faced over the last several years and in fact still faces today. Although the nation is in recovery much assistance is required.

Large numbers of the Zimbabwean people live in rural areas and life can be difficult even at the best of times. We aim to identify several rural projects with a view to building much needed community centres that will include a health clinic, a day centre for the elderly, a class room, help and advice for the physical disabled, a training/skills room, a community hall and a chapel. We believe that these facilities will enable rural people to maintain a reasonable quality of life and help them to engage their wider economy and bring much needed provisions into the rural areas.

The Family of God Church Zimbabwe have been allocated a prime plot of land on a hillside next to the main road near the National Sports Stadium and Heroes Acre. They are currently trying to develop the site and build their Head Quarters which will benefit the whole city wide community in Harare. The HQ will be highly functional offering many facilities to the surrounding community and business sector. It will be used both for practical and spiritual activities and will be fully accessible to a whole spectrum of different people. We want to support this project as we will be allocated offices within the structure giving us a Southern Africa address. This will enable us to better strategically reach out across the continent of Africa and enable us to have a greater impact.
