Kingdom Global Construction Fund

THE TIME IS NOW!

I would like to introduce you to one of the Kingdom Global Construction Fund (KGCF) MissionBuilders.

It’s a pleasure to know this man, his name is Mr Simon Muyambo, both he and his wife became partners with the KGCF at the Zimbabwe 2009 Family of God Church Convention in Harare and are active MissionBuilders for the KGCF doing the practical work of developing construction projects in Zambia.

Simon and his wife Mrs Muyambo first came to Zambia in 1994 to work on a number of commercial projects with leading consulting firms. As a leader in the World Wide Family of God Church it became clear to Simon the people of Zambia loved the message of Jesus Christ he shared with them, the Lusaka Family of God Church was established.

Ministering to people from a wide range of backgrounds has given the Church a clear understanding of the challenges facing economically disadvantaged people in particular. The Lusaka Church have seen many people change their economic status through understanding the gospel yes but also by obtaining the skills their communities need.

Simon and his wife have been working closely with Bishop Sarah W Duro-Lombanya and her husband Pastor Churchill Lombanya and are contributing greatly to the projects in Chongwe.

Chongwe is a large village 45 kilometres east out of Lusaka. The Lusaka Church have obtained two plots in Chongwe Village to build facilities that will help the local community where unemployment is extremely high. Many of the residents have to travel into Lusaka to find work which is difficult due to the transportation challenges. Simon has worked hard to develop the main Chongwe project (the Chongwe Community Skills Training Centre) the projects objective is to empower local people who through no fault of their own are economically disadvantaged due to lack of skills and educational training. They earnestly desire to develop themselves if afforded the opportunity that this project will provide. Please support this great work by donation on this site or via the standing order sheet you can print off this site.

The Plot measures 50 meters by 50 meters and Simon with the Church, has laid a very strong reinforced concrete damp proofed foundation slab measuring 25 meters by 10 meters on which the KGCF will be able to build a two story community centre. The plan includes a skills training centre on the ground floor which will equip local people through formal training courses in Information Technology (computer skills training), Carpentry and joinery and Catering plus other courses as the centre develops. There will be a Kitchens, offices, class rooms and a separate Chapel and toilet block, The upper floor of the centre will be used by the community for various functions including a Mother and baby advisory unit where they can get up-to-date health care advise for the whole family.

There will also be an outreach program to disadvantaged children in the wider area providing a feeding centre and a class room for free basic education and youth advice. Both Simon and the whole Lusaka Family of God Church are enthusiastic to see Zambian people achieve a far higher quality of life through personal empowerment on a practical level as well as on a spiritual level. Simon explained to me that the KGCF has a great opportunity in Zambia to make a real difference in people’s lives. He has found that focusing on meeting other people’s needs opens “rivers of blessing”. He welcomed us the wider Global MissionBuilder community to take part in this great vision as we build the Chongwe Community skill centres, feeding centre and school. Simon and the Lusaka Family of God Church have been funding these projects and will tell you themselves they are arising to the challenge to be MissionBuilders in Zambia building facilities that make a difference.

As a Global community regardless of our differences we can easily give a meaningful donation or personally fund the project through giving into the Kingdom Global Construction Fund to get this and many other projects like it finished, the time is now! Whoever you are or whatever sphere of life you come from do not exclude yourself, please make a donation today and become a MissionBuilder with the Kingdom Global Construction Fund.

The Kingdom Global Construction Fund was launched on 22nd February 2009 at a fundraising breakfast with International Speaker, Businessman and Overseer of the World Wide Family of God Churches (Pentecostal) Andrew Wutawunashe.
