Kingdom Global Construction Fund

Kingdom Global Construction Fund

The Kingdom Global Construction Fund was launched on 22nd February 2009 at a fundraising breakfast with International Speaker, Businessman and Overseer of the World Wide Family of God Churches (Pentecostal) Andrew Wutawunashe.  After the initial launch of the fund we travelled to the Churches in Birmingham, Leeds and London explaining the practical work the fund would achieve and asking for money to support the projects.

Darren’s next stop was Australia (March 18th to 31st) where he visited congregations in Melbourne and Perth.  Australia was such a breath of fresh air to Darren, the generous and loving spirit of the people there really blessed him.   The Fund was very well received and the people gave generously to the work.  Nine days after his return from Australia Darren went to Zimbabwe and was given the opportunity to share the vision of the fund at the Family of God Church (FOG) Easter Convention which was attended by many thousands of people from all over the continent of Africa. The visit also gave Darren the opportunity to see some of the Zimbabwe projects first hand.

Darren travelled to Zambia in May but before that he squeezed in a visit to the Churches in Birmingham and Manchester.   Darren travelled to Zambia with my brother Richard Carey (Camera Man) who wanted to contribute his time and money to the fund by personally financing his whole trip in order to professionally film the projects (have a look at the projects page to see the results).

The rest of the year saw Darren (amongst other things) attending a musical extravaganza in London hosted by Jonathan and Shuvai Wutawunashe who helped support the fund.  More recently we attended a Convention in Birmingham and visited the Church in Coventry.

The fund was recently contacted by a group helping 230 physically disabled people in Harare Zimbabwe , Mandy one of our volunteer helpers in Manchester has been organising practical assistance for them and we will bring you updates in future newsletters .

Lastly I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleges at the Manchester blood centre who kindly donated over £200 when I told them about the work of Mission Builders. Some of the money has already made a practical difference in the lives of Zambians the rest is in the fund account waiting for the start of building.
2010 brings many planned trips including Southampton, Dublin, Botswana and back to Zambia.

If you like Darren to come to your Church /organisation/charity/Television Channel and share the vision please contact him via our email giving your contact details.
Please have a good look at the website and join with us as a mission builder.
